A business delegation from Thuringen state in Germany, led by the state’s Minister-President Bodo Ramelow, paid a working visit to northern Phu Tho province on November 7 as part of its Vietnam’s visit from November 6-11.

The delegation expressed an interest in seeking cooperative opportunities in various fields and promoting investment in the province.

An MoU was signed between the delegation and Vietnam’s the GIZA Group at the Bac Lam Thao Industrial Cluster in Phu Tho province.

Cooperative deals were also signed between Hehnke Co., Ltd. and the Giza Group’s Hasst Vietnam Industry Co., Ltd. in the production of automobile components for export; and between the Intercus GmbH LLC and the Vietnam Giza Engineering and Construction Joint Stock Company in investing in medical equipment production infrastructure.

“This cooperative agreement is an important step in promoting the relationship between Germany and Vietnam,” said CEO of Intercus GmbH Co., Ltd., Thomas Busch. “We believe that this agreement will create favorable conditions for German businesses to invest and do business in Vietnam, while contributing to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in other fields.”

Giza Group General Director Ngo Huu Hoang said he expects the agreements will open up many more opportunities for the Group to cooperate with German businesses and contribute to accelerating Vietnam’s economic growth.
