Hai Duong attracts two new foreign-invested projects

The Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee gave the go-ahead on November 2 for the investment plans of two Chinese businesses with combined capital of nearly $390 million.

A $270 million stationery plant will be built by the Deli Group Co., Ltd. at the expanded Dai An Industrial Park in the northern province’s Cam Giang district on over 212,400 sq m.

It is expected to employ some 3,000 workers and post annual revenue of $5 million once operational.

The other project will see the construction of a plant manufacturing solar photovoltaic cells at the Cong Hoa Industrial Park in Chi Linh city. The investor is BoViet Solar, a subsidiary of China’s Boway Alloy.

Covering 200,000 sq m, the plant will have investment of $120 million and expects to recruit more than 1,000 workers.
