Northern Hai Duong province plans to invest over VND1.22 trillion ($48.2 million) in building a bridge spanning Thai Binh river and approaching roads leading to the bridge.

The project’s investment policy was approved by the provincial People’s Council on August 12.

The investment capital will be mobilized from the provincial budget as part of the mid-term public investment plan for 2021-2025 and 2026-2030 periods.

The bridge is part of the Ring Road No.1 of Hai Duong city.

The project will have a total length of 2.5 km, with the bridge being 663 m long while the two approaching roads leading to the bridge being 437 m and 1.4 km long.
