Hai Phong's IPs and EZs attract $4.35 bln in FDI in 2024

Industrial parks and economic zones in northern Hai Phong port city attracted $4.35 billion in FDI in 2024, according to the city’s Economic Zone Management Board.

The figure is equivalent to 242% of the annual target.

Of the total, projects in the fields of high technology, processing and manufacturing, and logistics accounted for 77%.

The city’s IPs and EZs have so far lured 594 FDI projects with a total registered capital estimated at $30.3 billion.

Last year, enterprises at IPs and EZs gained combined revenue of $33.5 billion, equal to 105% of the annual target. Their total export turnover was estimated at $28.5 billion, or 109% of the annual plan. They have created jobs for over 210,000 workers.
