The Hanoi People’s Committee has approved the urban zoning planning for two areas in Soc Son district on a total of nearly 2,000 hectares and with a population of over 50,000.

Zone 3 will cover seven communes and Soc Son town, with a total area of over 1,434 ha and an estimated population of 46,210 by 2030.

Under the general planning on building the capital by 2030 with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister, and the city’s general planning for the Soc Son satellite urban area, Zone 3 will accommodate universities, colleges, sports and entertainment centers, ecological projects, community services, and high-quality housing projects.

Meanwhile, Zone 7 will cover three communes in Soc Son district on a total of 560.59 ha and with an estimated population of over 5,000 by 2030.

It will develop resorts, sports and entertainment complexes, golf courses, parks, and forests.
