According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the city needs 35,000-45,000 workers in the fourth quarter of 2023, as most industries are concentrating their efforts on achieving production and business targets over the remainder of the year.
Demand is also attributed to the city’s stronger economic growth in the third quarter.
Commercial and services, manufacturing, and construction have the most positions to fill.
Figures from the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs show that Vietnam’s capital created 186,177 jobs in the first ten months of the year, 15 per cent higher than the annual plan and a year-on-year increase of 1.9 per cent.
In October, the Hanoi Employment Service Center hosted 23 employment sessions with organizations and businesses from different industries. As a result, 1,868 people found employment.
