Hanoi to host plastic and printing exhibition

Exhibition expected to see some 130 foreign and domestic firms in attendance.

Around 130 domestic and foreign exhibitors will showcase products in the plastics, printing, and packaging industries at HanoiPlasPrintPack 2023 in the capital on June 8-11.

They include businesses from Belgium, China, Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and the UK.

The exhibition is expected to help boost technological innovation and support business development.

A seminar will be held on the sidelines to strengthen connectivity between businesses and help participants gain more insight into the future of the plastics, printing, and packaging industries.

In Vietnam, the plastics sector has played an important role in the economy, serving a wide range of industries such as packaging, consumption products, electronics, automobiles, aviation, garments and textiles, and agriculture.

Vietnam produced 11.2 million tons of plastic products in 2022, for year-on-year growth of 12.5 per cent.

The country has become a plastic production hub for many foreign markets.
