The Vietnam International Garment and Textile Industry Exhibition - VTG 2024 are taking place in Ho Chi Minh City between September 25-28.

The event gathers over 380 exhibitors from 12 countries and territories around the world, including major enterprises such as Tajima, Sansin, Epson (THN), Happy Japan, and Viet Tien Tung Shing.

It showcases the latest technological advancements in fabrics, yarns, and accessories, and comprehensive textile solutions, machinery for footwear production, and computerized sewing machines.

The VTG focuses on promoting digital transformation in footwear production, and environmentally friendly dyeing solutions to help Vietnam's textile industry meet the stringent EU ESG standards.

The event takes place in parallel with the Vietnam International Textile and Apparel Accessories Exhibition (VITATEX), the Vietnam International Dyeing & Chemical Industry Exhibition (DYECHEM), and the Vietnam International Footwear Machinery and Material 2024 (VFM), all in HCM City, creating a comprehensive exhibition series on textile and garment and supporting industry supply chain.

In the first eight months of the year, Vietnam earned $28.32 billion from garment and textile exports, up 6.19% year-on-year.
