HCMC recovering strongly in first 10 months

The Ho Chi Minh City Statistics Office has reported that most fields, such as industry, trade, and services, recovered strongly in the first ten months of the year. The retail sales of goods is estimated at VND519.17 trillion ($20.8 billion), up 22.3 per cent year-on-year. The city’s trade performance was a particular bright spot. Total export turnover of goods by the city’s enterprises through the city’s ports, including crude oil, reached $35.98 billion in the first ten months, up 10.1 per cent year-on-year.
