HDF Energy, one of global leading group in clean energy infrastructure development, has committed to promote green hydrogen and renewable energy projects in central Quang Ngai province.
The French-based group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the provincial Department of Industry and Trade on September 17.
Under the MoU, the two sides will facilitate the development of green hydrogen and renewable energy projects.
Focus will be made on integrating the latest technologies of HDF Energy, including HyPower (gas-to-power) hydrogen energy and Renewstable® (power-to-power), with the aim of supplying clean energy sources for the national power grid and major factories in the province, such as the oil refinery and steel manufacturing facilities.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Ran, Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, said Quang Ngai has a huge potential to develop renewable energy and industrial infrastructure.
Green hydrogen is one of the province’s top priorities to fuel its socio-economic growth in the future, he said.
