Indian giant tech Infosys ready to cooperate with Vietnam: co-founder

India tech giant Infosys stands ready to cooperate with Vietnam in advancing the development of information technology, innovation, big data, AI, and cloud computing, according to its cofounder Nagavara Ramaroa Narayana Murthy, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

During a meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Hanoi on May 20, Mr. Narayana Murthy noted that Infosys considers Vietnam a trustworthy partner in the digital era with high-quality human resources, the Government News has reported.

India has developed the information technology industry very early and Vietnam also has world-class technology enterprises such as FPT, he said.

This is a favorable foundation and environment to promote technology cooperation between the two countries, he noted, believing that Vietnam will reap greater success in the field of software.

For his part, PM Chinh called on Infosys cooperate with Vietnam through concrete projects, pledging to create favorable conditions for Indian business giants to invest in the fields of information technology, software, AI, and semiconductor chip.

He also suggested that Infosys and Indian experts help Vietnam mobilize resources for the development of  these fields.
