More than 120 domestic and foreign enterprises are displaying products in 160 booths at the 2023 Expo on Supporting, Processing and Manufacturing Industries, which kicked off in central Da Nang city on September 12.

Exhibited items are primarily in mechanical engineering, automotive production and assembly, electronics, hi-tech industries, textiles, leather and footwear, and other supporting industries.

This first-ever holding of the expo aims to create favorable conditions for domestic and foreign businesses to promote links, cooperation, and supply and consumption of products.

A series of workshops will be held on the sidelines of the three-day expo, including a conference on connecting supporting industries, a workshop on financial solutions for supply chains, and a workshop on energy saving solutions for businesses.

The Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Samsung Electronics Ltd. Co will also sign an MoU on cooperation in implementing a project on smart factory development for businesses in Da Nang and the central region.
