The person who established Khai Hoan Land

The success of Khai Hoan Land is down to Mr. Nguyen Khai Hoan, Founder and Chairman of the Khai Hoan Group and the Khai Hoan Land Group JSC.

Mr. Hoan was born on January 3, 1975. He is recognized as a Vietnamese businessman and humanitarian. He was born and raised in a family dedicated to art and culture. His father, the late author Nguyen Khai, had a great influence on 20th-century Vietnamese literature. Mr. Hoan currently resides in District 7 in Ho Chi Minh City. He and his wife, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Huong, have four children.

Mr. Hoan is also known for his creative use of a reading culture as a method of personal and business development. He has developed a number of charitable and humanitarian projects based on his commitment to books and the art of reading. And he has had a well-recognized literary background from an early age, along with a passion for real estate development. At the age of 20, he laid the first brick in his real estate career.

He is also one of five people who jointly established a company specializing in investment, development and real estate brokerage - the Khai Hoan Land Group - in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces in 2009. As of May 2022, the company had authorized capital of VND4.43 trillion ($189.7 million). Mr. Hoan holds 30.61 per cent of the company’s stocks and the other founders, who are all members of Mr. Hoan’s family, including his brother, sister, and his wife, hold 13.68 per cent.

June 26, 2021, marked an important milestone for the Khai Hoan Group JSC as it officially reached an agreement with the T&T Group on becoming a developer and unique distributor for all projects under the T&T Group brand around the country. The agreement is seen as a good foundation to strengthen Khai Hoan Land’s position as one of the leading residential developers and commercial real estate operators in Vietnam.

July 19, 2021, was another important milestone for the company, as its stocks were officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) under the code KHG.

Business, real estate, and a passion for literature and the importance of reading for personal and social development are all interests of Mr. Hoan. He is known for being one of the first to build a broad reading culture at his company, and has overseen Khai Hoan Land’s commercial success. An integral part of his associates’ professional development is reading, and books are featured in training courses and awards ceremonies and are a major component of benevolent programs.
