The Tax Department of Hue City in central Vietnam has released a list of businesses with outstanding tax debts as of the end of July and August 2025.
Among them, the 10 largest debtors account for over VND200 billion ($7.6 million) in total, highlighting a prolonged tax debt situation that requires urgent resolution.
According to a consolidated report from four public notices issued by local tax authorities in August 2025, nearly 400 businesses and organizations have been listed tax-debtors.
The total outstanding tax debt as of mid-August exceeds VND230 billion (over $8.73 million), with over VND200 billion ($7.6 million) belonging to the 10 largest debtors.
The public disclosure, based on Article 100 of the Law on Tax Administration No. 38/2019/QH14 and Article 29 of Decree 126/2020/ND-CP, is applicable to cases of prolonged overdue tax obligations.
The company with the highest debt is Century Real Estate Group Joint Stock Company, located at Lot C, Zone A, An Van Duong New Urban Area, An Van Ward, with a debt totaling more than VND131.6 billion (nearly $5 million).
In addition to the top 10 tax-debtor enterprises, Hue's tax offices have also publicly disclosed hundreds of other cases.
