MARD working on development strategy

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) is preparing a strategy for the sustainable development of agriculture, farmers, and rural areas in the 2021-2030 period and vision to 2050. The goal by 2025 is for agriculture to grow 2.5-3 per cent per year and for total export turnover of agriculture, forestry, and fishery products to reach $50 billion. Vietnam is striving to become a modern agriculture country by 2045.
