Mega Us Expo 2024 to boost Vietnam-RoK trade ties

The Multi-Trend Expo & Global Business People’s HUB (Mega Us Expo) 2024, a Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) multi-sector exhibition, is scheduled to take place on August 22-24 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event will attract more than 200 enterprises and over 30 centers and organizations supporting innovative startups of the RoK, as well as Vietnamese partners.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Director of the municipal Department of Science and Technology, said the event is aimed at boosting trade exchanges between the two countries.

Apart from B2B matching and investment connection activities, the Mega Us Expo 2024 will also feature a program for fundraising investment capital.

The event also aims to open opportunities and apply new technologies from Korea to serve manufacturing processes in Vietnam and establish cooperation programs to nurture projects and develop startup businesses.

The expo is expected to attract 5,000 visitors and create 1,500 B2B matchings.

The event will be co-organized by the Jeonbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (JBCCEI), the city’s Department of Science and Technology, the Korea-Vietnam Trade Promotion Center (Koretoviet) and their partners.

It is one of the activities under the memorandum of understanding on cooperation and supporting startup innovation, expanding the markets for Korean-Vietnamese enterprises, between JBCCEI and the Department of Science and Technology.
