The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) will simplify or cut 13 administrative procedures relating to business this year under a plan that has been approved by the government.
These include three procedures and regulations relating to the issuance, re-issuance, and adjustment of certain chemical production licenses, and ten procedures and regulations in the field of trade promotion.
Under the national program on reducing and simplifying business regulations in the 2020-2025 period, the Prime Minister has requested that ministries and sectors simplify at least 20 per cent of their regulations by 2025.
Ministries and agencies cut and simplified 628 business regulations last year.
