National Assembly (NA) deputies will consider approval of the draft Land Law (amended) and the draft Law on Credit Institutions (amended) at the fifth extra-ordinary meeting of the legislative body, according to NA General Secretary and Chairman of the NA Office Bui Van Cuong.

The extra-ordinary session is scheduled to open on January 15 and wrap up on January 18, Mr. Cuong said at the opening session of the NA Standing Committee’s 29th session in Hanoi on January 8.

Legislators will vote on a draft resolution on special mechanisms and policies to tackle difficulties and obstacles to speed up key national target programs, he added.

They will also discuss and decide upon several urgent financial and State budget issues.
