New airport for Quang Tri

Central Quang Tri province will invest more than VND5.8 trillion ($255 million) in building an airport on an area of 265 ha and with a capacity of welcoming 2.2-5 million passengers each year. It is one of 28 airports within planning approved by the government and is expected to help the province develop three strategic pillars: industry, agriculture, and tourism-services.
