Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son has signed, on behaft of the Prime Minister,  Decision No 1541/QD-TTg establishing the Ha Nam High-Tech Park in northern Ha Nam province.

The park will be put under the management of the People's Committee of Ha Nam Province.

The park spans an area of over 663 ha, located in the communes of Tran Hung Dao, Nhan My, Nhan Nghia, Nhan Binh, Xuan Khe, and Phu Phuc in Ly Nhan District.

The Ha Nam High-Tech Park will engage in high-tech activities in line with Vietnam's high-tech development policies and orientations, as well as global high-tech trends.

In the initial phase, it will focus on attracting high-tech investments in the fields of artificial intelligence, electronics and semiconductors, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, and new materials technology.

The development roadmap for the Ha Nam High-Tech Park includes two phases: 2022-2025 and post-2025.

The park is designed to develop three functional zones: a high-tech experimentation zone; a high-tech production and application zone; and a startup and innovation center, focusing on AI, automation, biotechnology, and new industrial products.

These are new fields with high technological content, creating superior added value and aligning with development trends.

The Ha Nam High-Tech Park is designated as a multi-sectoral, open high-tech park, drawing on both internal and external resources.
