Central Nghe An province has officially launched and initiated pilot operations of its shared data warehouse alongside a provincial data analytics and operations platform, establishing the bedrock for transitioning public governance to a data-driven model.

Following a pilot phase running from September 7 to September 30, 2026, the system has structured four foundational components: a shared data repository, the "iNgheAn" executive handbook, a real-time operational dashboard, and an open data-sharing portal.

To date, eight sectors across the province have developed data repositories comprising 148 datasets. The overarching provincial shared data warehouse now hosts 93 datasets across 21 distinct categories. All incoming data undergoes cleansing and quality evaluation before integration into the system and is connected directly to the National Financial Database.

The operational platform features a three-tiered executive dashboard organized across nine core data axes. The iNgheAn application, available on both iOS and Android, enables provincial leadership to monitor and analyze administrative metrics anytime, anywhere, while progressively integrating an AI-powered data assistant. A public open-data portal has also been deployed to disseminate non-confidential municipal data.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Van Thanh emphasized that building a shared data warehouse is not merely an exercise in accumulating data for storage, but rather about unlocking data flows across tiers of the local government and line departments, transforming data into an active asset for governance and socio-economic development.

The provincial authorities required all integrated data to be regularly updated, interoperable, and efficiently shared. Agency heads responsible for creating and managing data hold ultimate accountability for its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and cross-system sharability.

Over the immediate term, Nghe An is prioritizing data integration across core sectors: socio-economic development indicators, state budget revenue and expenditure, public investment disbursement, administrative procedures, and the execution status of official assignments.

The shared data warehouse serves as the structural foundation for Nghe An to systematically foster data-driven governance, aiming for faster, more accurate municipal administration and higher public service delivery standards for citizens and enterprises.
