Northern Ninh Binh province welcomed nearly 7.7 million tourists in the first ten months of the year, fulfilling the yearly target ahead of schedule.

The figure represents a year-on-year increase of 30.9%.

Of the total, 979,000 were foreign visitors, a 2.8-fold rise compared to the same period last year. Domestic tourists reached over 6.7 million, up 21.3% year-on-year.

Total tourism revenue in the 10-month period is estimated at more than VND7.77 trillion ($304 million), soaring 40.3% year-on-year.

The province earlier set a target of serving 7.5 million tourists in 2024 and gaining tourism turnover of VND8.25 trillion ($325 million).

The province’s industrial production in the past ten months recorded positive growth with the index of industrial production rose 11.12% year-on-year.

The province posted export revenue of over $2.8 billion in the ten-month period, jumping 8.5% compared to the same period last year.
