The  Department of Finance of Ninh Binh province in Northern Vietnam has announced a project for construction and operation of a solid waste treatment plant in Trung Son Ward. The project will be open for bidding to select an investor in accordance with bidding laws.

With a total investment of VND650 billion ($24.7 million), the project will utilize approximately 3.86 ha of land area and is expected to help solve the ongoing problem of industrial waste in the province.

The plant is designed with a processing capacity of approximately 500 tons per day. In addition to treating daily generated waste, the project will also focus on processing old, previously landfilled sites, while prioritizing the application of advanced, environmentally friendly technologies.

The recovery, recycling, and reuse of solid waste are particularly encouraged, aiming for an "Industrial Symbiosis" model in conjunction with cement plants and the development of a circular economy in the waste treatment sector.

According to the province's requirements, all machinery and equipment in the plant must be 100% new and unused. The winning investor will be selected through a competitive bidding process, presenting a specific plan for investment, construction, and operational management. All construction items must fully meet specialized industry standards, ensuring compliance with regulations on planning, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental impact.
