This is the first foreign visit since he became General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee on August 3.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam and his spouse will pay a State visit to China from August 18-20,  the Government News quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as announcing on August 15.

The visit will be made at the invitation of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping. 

This is Mr. To Lam's first foreign visit  since he became General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee on August 3.
