Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has instructed the Central Highlands’ Dak Lak province to promote socio-economic development in a rapid, sustainable, comprehensive and inclusive manner on the basis of attracting and mobilizing resources for potential sectors.
Speaking at a working session with the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee on August 18, PM Chinh said the province should focus on four main pillars, including quality agricultural and forestry products for exports, large-scale agro-processing and renewable energy production; urban economy, digital and irrigation infrastructure; and logistics and tourism services based on digital platforms, digital economy and digital society.
Besides, the province should improve business and investment environment, support businesses, promote startup and innovation, simplify administrative procedures and boost digital transformation, he said.
The Government leader also asked the province to mobilize resources for development investment, particularly public-private partnership, and increase investment in infrastructure to create new development space.
In the first seven months of the year, Dak Lak gained a GRDP growth of 4.13% year-on-year. Export revenue reached $1.13 billion, up 25.4% year-on-year.
