Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has issued a Directive asking relevant ministries, agencies, sectors, and localities to accelerate progress and improve the quality of planning work during the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050.

The Party and the government have identified planning as one of most important tasks, to be carried out in an effective and timely manner in line with actual circumstances, the Prime Minister said.

The government leader ordered the promotion of digital transformation, the application of information technology in planning tasks, the mobilization and effective use of resources to evaluate and implement planning, and the adoption of measures to prevent corruption.

Ministries and localities were instructed to speed up the preparation, evaluation, and approval of national, regional, and provincial planning in 2023 as scheduled.
