Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has sought fundamental solutions to improve workplace productivity and encouraged all economic sectors and businesses to train and retrain their workers to improve skills and capacity.
Speaking at a ceremony on April 27 to launch the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Hygiene and the Month for Workers in 2023, Prime Minister Chinh said economic restructuring, changes in production and business methods, and the movement of workers between regions, economic zones, and enterprises require that workers quickly and flexibly adapt.
The government leader pointed to the need to take measures to improve their living and working conditions, promote innovation and creativity, and diversify economic components to create more jobs and livelihoods.
Ministries, sectors, and localities were requested to ensure full access to basic and essential social services by employees, and build and implement human resources development strategies, especially for high-quality human resources.
