Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked relevant ministries and agencies to carefully listen to public opinion and address any emerging issues before completing and submitting draft amendments to the Land Law and Housing Law to the National Assembly.
The two laws are important bills with a high level of complexity and sensitivity and large-scale with far-reaching effects on individuals and businesses, so progress and quality must be ensured, Prime Minister Chinh said while chairing a government law-building meeting on April 10.
When drafting supplementations and amendments to the two laws, it is necessary to continue to hear from the people, experts, scientists, management officials, and relevant groups, he said.
The government will submit 18 bills and draft ordinances for approval at the upcoming National Assembly’s fifth session.
