Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on August 2 visited the construction site of the Tan Van - Nhon Trach section of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 3 project, including the prominent Nhon Trach Bridge.

Ring Road 3 spans 76.34 kilometers and carries a total investment of VND75.3 trillion ($2.86 billion), fully funded by the state budget. The Tan Van - Nhon Trach section has a total length of 8.22 kilometers, with 6.3 kilometers running through southern Dong Nai Province and 1.92 kilometers through Ho Chi Minh City.

This key section has reached nearly 98% completion and is scheduled to open to traffic on August 19. The Nhon Trach Bridge — the largest bridge along the entire route — will also be inaugurated on the same day.

The Prime Minister’s inspection reflects the Government’s emphasis on accelerating infrastructure projects critical to boosting regional connectivity and economic development.
