Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has requested to mobilize local resources for ensuring logistics and enhancing support for the construction of 500 kV national transmission line, circuit 3.
The 519-km line, which is scheduled to be completed by June 30, runs from Quang Trach district in central Quang Binh province to Pho Noi in northern Hung Yen province, with the total investment capital estimated at VND23 trillion ($903 million).
In a dispatch sent to leaders of relevant localities and agencies on June 1, PM Chinh asked them to mobilize available resources, give maximum support, and create all necessary conditions for investors, contractors, construction units to ensure the best logistics, living, and moving conditions for the personnel.
The Vietnam Electricity (EVN) group and the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) were ordered to direct their forces to carry out the project in scientific and effective manner, frequently examine and monitor the construction site and ensure project progress and quality.
The project is one of national key projects helping to ensure the national energy security and improving the transmission capacity of the national power system, ensuring power supply for the northern region during the peak period of 2024 and the following years.
