PM examines construction of Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh examined the construction of the Khanh Hoa-Buon Ma Thuot expressway in the central region on August 17, the Government News has reported.

The expressway links coastal south-central Khanh Hoa province and Buon Ma Thuot city in the Central Highlands’ Dak Lak province.

The 117.5-km link is designed to have four lanes, with total investment estimated at nearly VND22 trillion ($872 million).

Construction began in June 2023.

PM Chinh visited the expressway’s sections in Hoa Dong commune, Krong Pac district’s Ea Yong and Vu Bon communes, and Cu Elang commune in Ea Kar district of Dak Lak province.

He asked local authorities to strive to complete site clearance soon to ensure the progress of the project and take care of the residents who have moved to new areas to pave the way for the project.
