Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked relevant agencies to rearrange administrative units and streamline the administrative apparatus to provide convenience for people and businesses.

Chairing a national teleconference on the rearrangement of administrative units at the district and communal levels in the 2023-2030 period on July 31, Prime Minister Chinh said the rearrangement must be done in line with planning, including provincial master planning and urban and rural planning, and also meet development demand.

The government leader asked ministries and agencies to direct the rearrangement in a flexible and suitable manner to ensure the smooth functioning of the administrative apparatus and to not affect businesses.

He also asked sectors and localities to share experience and lessons in the task, and anticipate possible problems and propose appropriate solutions during implementation.
