Power output down in August, up in 8M

Electricity output in Vietnam as a whole reached 21.58 billion kWh in August, down 0.3 per cent year-on-year. The figure for the first eight months was 173.22 billion kWh, up 5.4 per cent year-on-year, of which hydropower accounted for 26.8 per cent, coal-fired power 49.2 per cent, and solar energy 11.7 per cent.
