Authorities in central Quang Binh province have called for investors to build the Bao Ninh urban area in Dong Hoi city, with estimated investment of nearly VND2 trillion ($84 million), according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

Of the total capital, around VND66 billion ($2.78 million) will be used for site clearance and compensation while the remainder will go to construction.

It will cover a total area of over 200,000 sq m in Bao Ninh commune.

The project will build technical infrastructure and accommodation with 230 social apartments and 97 commercial houses.

Local authorities have also recently invited businesses to invest in building the Ly Nhan urban area in Bo Trach district, with total investment of more than VND1.8 trillion ($75.9 million).
