Northern Quang Ninh province, home of Ha Long Bay, plans to introduce 24 new tourism products in April in the five localities of Ha Long and Mong Cai cities and Van Don, Co To, and Hai Ha districts.
It will also add two new tour routes to Bai Tu Long Bay in Van Don district.
The plan is part of the province’s solutions to fulfil its target of welcoming 15 million tourists in 2023. Total revenue is expected to reach VND32.4 trillion ($1.35 billion).
It welcomed about 1.7 million visitors in February and earned some VND3 trillion ($125 million) from tourism services.
In the first two months of the year, 3.35 million tourists visited the province, double the figure in the same period last year.
