Seafood exports tipped to hit new record

With seafood exports of $9.5 billion in the first ten months of this year, or over 7 per cent of the global total, Vietnam is the world’s third-largest seafood exporter, after China and Norway. The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) has said that by mid-November, the country’s seafood exports will have exceeded $10 billion - a record figure after more than 20 years in the global market.
