Seafood exports up but logistics issues remain

Data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade shows that seafood exports reached $8 billion in the first eleven months of 2021, an increase of nearly 4 per cent year-on-year. Rising logistics costs, however, are causing problems for businesses, especially those exporting to markets as far away as Europe and North America. Many at the “Developing Vietnam’s logistics industry with the Europe - America region” seminar said that Vietnam needs to cooperate with foreign countries to develop logistics hubs.
