The Smart City Asia International Expo and Forum 2023 in Vietnam opened in Ho Chi Minh City on April 13, with the aim of promoting public-private partnerships in building smart cities.

Nearly 300 domestic and foreign exhibitors will introduce leading technologies and solutions for public lighting, smart cities and smart homes, urban planning, and public administration.

The expo and forum will also serve as a venue for local and foreign managers and leading experts to share orientations, strategies, solutions, and management tools in developing smart cities.

A Smart City Development Forum and seminars to share international experience in developing smart cities will be held on the sidelines of the event, as will a business matching program.

The event will last to April 15 and is expected to receive more than 10,000 visitors.
