Thai Nguyen adjusts housing development plan in 2022

Northern Thai Nguyen province has adjusted and supplemented its Housing Development Plan in 2022. It will now implement 290 housing projects and urban areas on a total area of 6,680 hectares this year, 17 communal housing projects on a total area of more than 115 hectares, and 24 projects on housing for resettlement on a total area of 250 hectares.

URENCO building plastic recycling factory

The daily volume of plastic waste generated in Hanoi stands at more than 1,000 tons but only 2 per cent is recycled, with the remainder discharged into the environment. The Hanoi Urban Environment Company (URENCO) has said it is investing in a Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) plastic recycling factory with a capacity of handling 100 tons of plastic waste, which will be put into operation in 2023.

On June 20, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Public Interest Foundation International Manpower Development Organization (IM Japan) from Japan signed an MoU on a program sending Vietnamese to Japan on technical internships.
