Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has instructed authorities of central Quang Ngai province to strive for an economic growth target of 10-10.5% in 2025.

During a working session with the provincial leaders on February 9, PM Chinh suggested the province to review, and develop mechanisms to mobilize resources and create motives for the growth.

The province should promote new growth drivers more strongly, including green economy, digital economy, circular economy, knowledge-based economy, night-time economy, and culture industry; while renewing its traditional growth drivers – investment, export, and consumption, the government leader requested.

In 2024, the south-central coastal province’s GRDP sice reached VND132 trillion ($5.21 billion), ranking 24th among the nation's 63 provinces and centrally-run cities.
