South Saigon is gearing up for one of the largest cultural spectacles of the year as the T&T City Millennia Music and Light Festival takes over Tay Ninh this weekend. The event, themed “Awakening Heritage, Stepping into the New Era,” promises a world-class blend of music, technology, and fireworks – all free to the public.

A star-studded music line-up
The festival, held in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, will feature an unprecedented artist line-up. Leading the bill are top V-pop names such as Duc Tuan, Uyen Linh, Trong Hieu, and Chi Pu, each bringing a distinctive musical style.
They will be joined by Isaac, Quan A.P, Erik, Tieu Minh Phung, DJ Mie, and Ha Nhi. Organizers say this combination of powerful voices, high energy, and visual charisma will ensure a memorable show. Since the announcement, the line-up has set social media alight, with fan communities rallying to attend the event.

Record-breaking drone and light performance
One of the most anticipated features is the largest drone show ever staged in Tay Ninh. A fleet of 1,000 drones will simultaneously take flight, turning the night sky over Can Giuoc ward into a vast moving canvas. Through advanced programming, the drones will recreate iconic images of the Mekong Delta – from the shimmering Vam Co River and bustling floating markets to sweeping rice fields.
Multi-layer performance technology will be used to create a panoramic visual experience. The spectacle will extend beyond the main stage to include drones, fireworks, lasers, and water-based light effects, immersing the audience in a multi-dimensional environment.
According to the production team, this approach will maximize the visual impact: “Instead of confining the stage to a single perspective, we’re expanding it into a grand panoramic experience.”

Fireworks finale and cultural journey
The evening will culminate in a 15-minute fireworks display, designed to lift the emotions of tens of thousands of spectators. The performances will guide the audience through a journey that spans historical heritage, cultural pride, and a vision for a modern future.
Despite its scale and high-profile cast, the festival is open to all at no cost. Organizers say it is a gift of gratitude to the public and the beginning of a cultural program to build a connected, modern, and identity-rich urban community.
As the project’s financial partner, SHB will offer special mortgage packages to those looking to own property at T&T City Millennia, with interest rates starting at 3.99% per year, financing up to 90% of property value, and terms of up to 35 years.
