Southern Binh Duong province aims to establish at least 110,000 businesses by 2030, according to a plan issued by the provincial People's Committee.
Under the plan, local entrepreneurs will be encouraged to develop their businesses with potential to compete both domestically and internationally.
These entrepreneurs will play a pioneering role in driving key industries and sectors of the economy in the province.
The plan outlines that approximately 9.69% of businesses will engage in import and export activities, contributing significantly to the total import and export turnover.
Moreover, the province is committed to promoting gender equality in business, with an expectation that 20-25% of businesses will be owned by women and 30-35% will have female directors or heads.
Looking ahead to 2045, Binh Duong province aspires to have entrepreneurs capable of leading industrial and agricultural value chains, aiming to create several Vietnamese value chains in priority and advantageous industries.
The overarching goal is to develop a Binh Duong business community with the scale, capacity, and qualifications to meet national development goals, achieve high income, and establish a prestigious position both regionally and internationally.
