The total revenue of 19 parent groups and corporations under the Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC) reached more than VND1.13 quadrillion ($47 billion) in 2023, according to Deputy Chairman of the CMSC Ho Sy Hung.
The figure is equal to 105.15 per cent of the annual target and 96.57 per cent of the result in 2022, he reported at a recent meeting to review performance in 2023 and launch tasks for 2024.
Pre-tax profits, excluding those of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), stood at nearly VND53.26 trillion ($2.21 billion), representing 166.09 per cent of the annual target and 110.92 per cent of the 2022 figure.
Groups and corporations also contributed over VND79.25 trillion ($3.3 billion) to the State budget.
