Under document No. 223/TTg-DMDN, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc on February 27, the right to represent state capital ownership at MobiFone Corporation has been transfered from the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises to the Ministry of Public Security.

The Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises will be soon dissolved under a plan to streamline the State apparatus.

The move also aims to ensure more effective management of state capital and prevent corruption, negativity, waste, group interests, and violations of the law, as directed by the Politburo and the Government for the implementation of the 12th Party Central Committee's Resolution No 18-NQ/TW on streamlining the political system’s organizational structure for improved efficiency.

MobiFone reported that in 2024, the most important indicators, namely profit and state budget contribution, were both positive, with pre-tax profit  and state budget contribution exceeding the plan by 20.1% and  56.7%, respectively.

MobiFone's digital service sector witnessed high growth rates for many products and services, such as MobiFone Meet (up 1050%), Cloud (312%), mobiAgri (49%), and MobiFone invoice (58%).

In addition, in 2024, MobiFone continued to affirm its position as a pioneering digital technology enterprise, contributing to the national digital transformation. Strategies for developing new products, improving services, and promoting 5G technology transformation have yielded positive results, helping to enhance customer experience and improve MobiFone's competitiveness in the market.
