The Embassy and Trade Office of Sweden in Vietnam organized a green exhibition and launched the “Sweden - Vietnam Business Footprint” in Ho Chi Minh City on October 21, affirming the European country’s commitment to promoting the cooperation between the two countries for a green future.
The exhibition is one of activities held to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties (1969 - 2024), according to Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam Johan Ndisi.
Sweden committed to enhance cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in economy, trade, innovation and sustainable development, the ambassador said.
“The exhibition is a cooperation platform to boost the bilateral partnership and accelerate green transition in Vietnam. By introducing our solutions, we hope to inspire closer collaboration between Sweden and Vietnam,” he added.
The event drew the participation of some leading Swedish businesses in green technology introducing their products and providing updated information on solutions to meet Vietnam’s needs.
It also provides an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises and partners to seek partnerships with Swedish firms in developing green economy, particularly in renewable energy, emission reduction, circular economy and new technology.
