During a meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Rio de Janeiro on July 6, JBS Senior Executive stated that his company is ready to position Vietnam as a central hub for the production and distribution of agricultural and food products.

PM Chinh affirmed that Vietnam and Brazil hold significant potential for agricultural cooperation, citing their large domestic markets, and complementary strengths.

In the first three months of 2025, Brazil maintains its position as Vietnam’s third-largest pangasius importer, following China and the United States.

Brazilian President Lula da Silva is on a three-day State visit to Vietnam.

Brazil is currently Vietnam's leading trading partner in Latin America.
