Upgrades to come for Vinh airport to boost capacity
Airport now overloaded and in need of upgrades to cater to more passengers and goods.
$17.5bln needed for airports to 2030
Capital demand for the development of Vietnam’s airport network to 2030 stands at some VND400 trillion ($17.55 billion); four times higher than the figure in the last decade. Large airports and logistics centers at eight airports will be prioritized. The vision to 2050 is for Vietnam to have 31 airports, including 14 international and 17 domestic.
