Five southern localities to cooperate in HCMC belt road project

The Ministry of Transport has forwarded a document to the Prime Minister requesting that five southern localities - Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Long An provinces - be assigned to implement the Belt Road No. 4 project in the southern city under the PPP (public-private partnership) model. The ring road has a total length of 197.6km, with total investment estimated at VND100 trillion ($4.35 billion). Completion is expected prior to 2025.
