January-August reported 103,658 newly-established enterprises, a record figure for the first eight months.

To further improve its business environment, central Da Nang city will introduce a range of different solutions, focusing in particular on completing urban and traffic infrastructure, building a pool of high-quality human resources, conducting administrative reform, and enhancing digital transformation.

Central Da Nang city has paid significant attention to and issued policies on supporting local businesses over the years, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It was regularly among the top 5 localities in Vietnam’s provincial competitiveness index (PCI) from 2018 to 2021.
