Highways built under socio-economic recovery and development program must proceed quickly
A number of key highways are being funded by the Socio-Economic Development and Recovery Program in 2022 and 2023. Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has therefore proposed that ministries, agencies, and localities quickly appoint contractors, to ensure the successful and effective implementation of the program.

Three of four sub-projects in the first phase of the North-South Expressway project, which were to be completed in 2022, are currently behind schedule. Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has requested no further delays. Construction contractors and project management boards that do not meet requirements must be replaced immediately.
